The beautiful St. Patrick's
Window in memory of William John Church depicts key aspects of the
life and ministry of St Patrick, his parents and contemporaries;
preaching to the general assembly at East Meath; officiating at the
baptism of King Aengus of Cashel; tending cattle as a young slave;
being consecrated by St. Germanus; baptizing two princesses; and
writing his confession at Saul, Co. Down.
The Choir vestry is also used as by Parents with young children as a
quiet area should they wish to retire during Church services to attend
to their children's needs. The church speaker system allows the
service to be heard within this area. The church kitchen and toilets
are also located in this area.
The impressive church high pitched timber panelled ceiling extends the
length of the church.
Above the rear exit is displayed a wonderful piece of art inspired by
St Patricks church, painted by Sara Cunningham Bell. |
