Welcome.

Sunday school runs from 10.00 to 10.50am before our Daybreak service.

Each child wishing to attend must be registered. Registration forms are available on this website section and also in the church hall when you come to register. Do not worry if you miss attending in September as children can be registered at any stage during the year.

Age Groups

Our age groups are as follows:

1) Scramblers. This group is for children who are in P1. If your child is in their pre-school year and you feel that they would enjoy this group they will also be welcome. If you feel that your child is not ready for this group in September they are welcome to join at any stage later in the year. On mornings when Daybreak is running there will also be a crèche available for younger children.

2) Sunday School. This group is for children who are in P2-P7.

3) Pathfinders. This group is for children from year 8 to year 10.

When do we start?

We start on the third Sunday of September with Daybreak. We hope that lots of parents/friends will come with their children, but if you are not planning to attend your child will be very welcome on their own as long as you have registered them with Sunday School. Breakfast will be available from 9.30am and there will be tables set aside for unaccompanied Sunday school children.

Please note that Sunday School will end at 10.50am and all children (including Scramblers) can be collected at the double doors of the Minor Hall. Children can still be delivered to the entrance of the main hall (9.30am for breakfast/10.00am for the start of the service). We hope to see you there, every age and stage . Feel free to contact us via the parish office with any queries you may have.

What are our aims?

Sunday School has three main aims:

Evangelism: telling the children about Jesus as Saviour.

Teaching: how God's word is relevant to our lives.

Building a church family: helping the children get to know each other, their teachers and the young people who help us, and helping them get involved in church life.

Interested in helping?

If you are interested in joining our team of teachers or assistants? We would be delighted to hear from you. Please use the contact information above. Please note all volunteers at all levels are subject to St Patricks/St Andrews vetting procedures and Child protection policy.
